I'm looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year! This will be my 19th year teaching and my 12th year teaching 3rd grade. Prior to TCE, I taught at Brier Creek Elementary and Stough Elementary.
I grew up in Rhode Island and moved to the Raleigh area after graduate school. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Rhode Island College. I am also National Board Certified. I am the Girls on the Run Site Coordinator for TCE and a GOTR coach on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons I have been a part of the GOTR organization for 14 years and I couldn't imagine my life without it! If you are interested in more information, please check out: www.gotrtriangle.org! I have been married for almost 14 years and have 2 sons: Cole is 12 and Jake is 10. Jake is entering his last year at Turner Creek and Cole attends Holly Grove Middle. I love spending my free time with my family and I also love to run, workout, cook, and read. I have run 2 marathons, 14 half-marathons, and many shorter races. I’m also a big hockey fan – Let's Go Canes! |
